The Thomas Scientific hot plate is available with a 4 x 4 inch, 7 x 7 inch, or 10 x 10 inch ceramic top plate, and has a temperature range of ambient +5 to 500 degrees C. The white ceramic top plate provides fast heating and resistance to chemicals and scratches. This hot plate has an LED display and temperature regulation by microprocessor with knob control for consistent, repeatable temperature settings. Internal memory recalls the last set temperature. It shuts off if the maximum temperature is exceeded by 10 degrees C. A hot top indicator helps ensure safe operation. It comes with a 72″ power cord and instructions. This hot plate is used to heat glassware and liquid solutions for scientific applications.
